Price charts in USD
Note: Charts are updated monthly and are designed to serve as an historic reference only.
The first chart demonstrates the effect that exchange rates have on the price of Australian merino wool..
I recent times the AUD has been volatile but has generally been on a rising trend as it is seen internationally as a ‘safe’ currency.

Using 19 micron as the example, the second chart demonstrates the rise and fall in price expressed in USD over the last five years accelerating dramatically in late August 2010 and reaching a peak in June 2011. It has been on declining trend since. This downward trend in price has at times been offset by the rising value of the Australian dollar.

The next chart is included to demonstrate the volatility of the Australian dollar exchange rate in relation to the US dollar.
